I few of our group did this run in Aberdeen last year and really enjoyed it.
Sunday 6th December at 1pm Santa Run (with participants to arrive to sign in between 11am and 12.15pm)Pittodrie Stadium, Richard Donald Stand 6km along beach front, with a lap of honour around the pitch at Pittodrie to finish Entry fee: £15, which includes a full santa suit (yours to keep) a goody bag and medal. Kids can take part for £12.50 Register http://www.wilddayout.com/or by calling 01667 458849. This event was held for the first time in Aberdeen last year and had around a thousand participants, and they are really looking forward to another good event this year.
