Sportsmen Dinner

I received this information from of young members Douglas Morrison I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a sportsman’s dinner on the 18th September at the Palace hotel, Peterhead. For the sportsman’s dinner I have been able to book John McRuvie and Jimmy Nicoll as after dinner speakers for the event. Jimmy Nicoll (to be confirmed depending on next seasons fixture’s) has been assistant manager at Aberdeen, where he was able to help lead Aberdeen to countless top 6 finishes and many European qualifying spots including a match against one of Europe’s greats, Bayern Munich. John McRuvie has been with Northsound for the past 20 years making him a recognizable voice on the radio. Over the years John has performed at over 600 events as an after dinner speaker and comedian. The money raised will help fund my world challenge expedition to Ghana, Africa with other pupils from Peterhead academy. When we travel to Ghana in June 2011 we will help local schools and orphanages, we will provide equipment for the children to gain a better education and also we will help the school by joining in with building classrooms and upgrading facilities. The price for a table of 10 is £300, which covers a two course meal. If you are interested in booking a table for the sportsman’s dinner or would like some more information then you can contact Douglas on TEL: 01779 471467 Mob: 07747560186 Email: Doug_Z@hotmail.co.uk
